We talk a lot about nutrient uptake in cover crops – it’s important to recognize this adds a layer of attention to ensure a successful cash crop. In this clip from a 25 May 2020 Farmer2Farmer virtual meeting, Pierceton, IN farmer Jamie Scott discusses inadvertent nutrient uptake (2×2 at planting) and his steps to ensure his crop will have the nutrients it needs – and that the cover crop is successfully terminated.
