Getting started with covers using herbicides

The cash crop has to come first, but we want to give the covers a chance. Like everything in farming, it’s a compromise. With a little practice you can start to see how the covers will start suppressing weeds. Tillage, commercial fertilizer, and herbicides aid in weeds becoming noxious on a mainstream farm.
